Pre-order terms
These terms govern the "pre-order" (reservation) offered on cometherobot.com. By signing up, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted them without reservation.
1. A reservation, not a sale
A pre-order for Côme is a simple expression of interest and registration on a waiting list. It is neither a firm order nor a sales contract, and creates no obligation to buy for you, and no obligation to manufacture or deliver for the publisher. No sales contract is formed at this stage.
2. No payment
No sum is requested, collected or charged at the pre-order stage. The stated price (€1,490) is a purely indicative launch price, subject to change; it will only become firm upon a possible order confirmation.
3. A product in development, whose release is not guaranteed
Côme is a project under design and industrialisation. Its characteristics, features, price and timelines are given for information only and may change without notice. The availability and actual release of the product are neither certain nor guaranteed.
4. Right to change, postpone or stop the project
The publisher reserves the right, at any time, at its sole discretion and without having to justify itself, to modify, suspend, postpone, scale back or permanently abandon the Côme project, in whole or in part. Any change, postponement, suspension, discontinuation or cancellation of the project, whatever the cause, gives no right to any indemnity, compensation, refund (no payment having been made) or damages of any kind. A pre-order confers no right to delivery of a product, and no priority or claim enforceable against the publisher.
5. How a sale could be formed, if applicable
If and only if the product is actually released, the publisher may invite you to confirm your order. A sale will only be formed after your express confirmation, on the terms then communicated (final price, timelines and specifications). At that point you will benefit from the consumer protections provided by law, including the 14-day right of withdrawal, under the conditions provided by law.
6. Cancellation by you, at any time
Your registration is non-binding: you may cancel it and unsubscribe at any time, free of charge and without justification, by writing to contact@cometherobot.com.
7. No warranty and limitation of liability
Information about Côme is provided "as is", for information purposes, without any warranty as to the future availability of the product. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for any loss, direct or indirect, resulting from the change, postponement, suspension or discontinuation of the project.
8. Personal data
The data you provide (name, e-mail, country, desired quantity) is processed solely to manage your reservation and keep you informed about the project, in accordance with our privacy policy.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law and supplement the legal notice. In the event of a dispute relating to a possible future sale, a consumer mediator may be contacted, or the European online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
